The 39 story Atmosphere is a luxury residential superstructure in Kolkata, India. Atmosphere consists of two tall towers and a 'Deya', the world's first residential floating sky sculpture. Sitting 500 ft in the air, 'Deya' (which means cloud in Bengali) connects the two towers that make up Atmosphere. Deya houses club facilities for the residents of Atmosphere. Initially conceived as a cloud changing in porosity and form, Deya is not a physical extension of the tower as such, since the majority of the spaces within are open air. The skin is composed of expanded mesh panels wrapped around structural ribs. Special panels carrying shimmering mobile reflective disks are scattered across this mesh. The porosity of these materials enables Deya to appear different in form depending on how it is lit.

The Atmosphere Building in Kolkata with 42 floors is one of the tallest residential tower in Kolkata The requirement is to provide public announcement system in building making a priority to the life safety system . A centralised Public announcement system with distributed rack on the different floor , Paging microphone to do manual & automatic announcement from the different location complying the EN-54 Standard.

EASE-Enhanced Acoustic Simulators for Engineers
EASE is software that allows the creation of a 3D acoustic model of a room and a sound system within a room.
• First the geometric data for the room is entered, then data for the acoustic absorption of the materials that are on the walls and other surfaces.
• From this, reverberation times and other acoustic parameters can be computed, and the model can be used to test various modifications that might be made to the acoustics.
• Next, loudspeakers can be added to the model at various locations. Data for the 3D frequency response is provided by loudspeaker manufacturers, and is part of the EASE database. With this data, a complex impulse response can be computed from any loudspeaker or system of loudspeakers to any point in the room.
• In addition, the response of the system can be computed for a grid of points of interest (for example, audience seating and a stage). It is thus easy to study the uniformity of distribution of sound over the listening area, as well as how much sound returns to the stage. And since the acoustics of the space have been computed, predictions of speech intelligibility can be mapped as well.
• EASE offers a wide variety of acoustic and electro-acoustic simulations that allow the designer to investigate and analyse the acoustic performance of the room and its loudspeaker system.
• The simulation results are usually displayed or mapped in colour on what EASE calls Audience Areas (Area Mapping) or on the room surfaces (Room Mapping). Audience

The simulations can be run individually (for example, Direct SPL at 2000 Hz) or collectively under a new EASE feature, “All Mapping”. Under All Mapping, the program gathers all the information it needs to quickly display any of the available simulations at any frequency. Data display is controlled by a View Calculations window that allows the quick selection and viewing of any one of the simulation maps at any frequency or frequency band. The View window also includes a Distribution tab that allows you to view the distribution of the simulation results. All Mapping is a great time saver during any thorough performance investigation as it allows you to quickly jump from one simulation to another.
Listening Plane:
At all the locations to simulate the results we have considered Listening plane at 1.2m from floor. Nominal human height of ear is 1.6m while standing & 1m while sitting on chair hence 1.2m is considered

A. A. Typical System Architecture:
1. Controller & Microphone
The Heinrich DVA8-500 Controller can be presume as heart of the paging announcement system. This Controller has inbuilt 500watt amplifier with 8 zone capacity & can extended up to 120 zones by adding additional router from the same family & meet the standards of BS EN54-32 & EN60849 which is compulsory for Public Announcement system. It has integrated EVAC messages which will be automatically played in case of any emergency further it has 6 audio input for connecting additional source such as DVD player, AM FM Tuner & External microphone.
The another equipment which is necessary in Public announcement system that is Microphone. Heinrich DVA8-500TM is a remote paging microphone work with DVA-8 500, which is capable of 120 zone paging features, its communication distance up to 300 meters through straight CAT6 cable, each amplifier capacity of connection up to 8 units of remote paging microphone, these microphone are connected hand-by hand. These 8 remote paging microphones could be pre-set different priorities by its dipswitch. The remote paging microphone is direct power supplied by the amplifier.
2. Speakers:
CMS5/T - The Heinrich CMS5/T is a ceiling speaker built-in 70v/100v transformer. The 70v/100v transformer technique reduces line losses on longer distance and allows easy parallel connection of multiple loudspeakers. The built-in 6” speaker driver is designed of wide frequency response 110-15KHz, the multiple power taps 1.5W, 3W & 6W are helpful for different applications varies from room size and ambient noise surroundings. The metal grille and metal baffle are painted in attractive white colour. Its spring clip clamp makes the easy and secure installation. It is ideal choice for industrial and commercial applications in hotel, school, office and factory where background music and paging is needed.
OGS25IP -The OGS25IP is a landscape garden speaker built-in 70v/100v transformer. The 70v/100v transformer technique reduces line losses on longer distance and allows easy parallel connection of multiple loudspeakers. The built-in 6.5” +1.5” two-way waterproof speaker driver is designed of wide frequency response 120-15kHz, the multiple power taps of 12.5W & 25W could meet di_erent applications varies from room size and ambient noise surroundings. The ABS enclosure is of green colour and of weather proof and heavy damage proof FInish. Easy and secure wall mount installation in outdoor area. It is ideal choice for park, playground, swimming pool and garden etc. outdoor applications where background music and paging is needed.
